As we've said before, our fun French Revival project keeps us on our toes—and we absolutely love it and the thoughtful clients behind it all! Oftentimes some of the most exciting days are when we get to pick out the details that might not seem important but are crucial when it comes to making a house feel (and look!) like a home.
Below are just a few fun pictures we've snapped throughout the building process that feature some of these important details!
Here we were testing the waters with roofing tiles. It was a cold, wet day that required red galoshes, but in the end, we were able to figure it all out! The final decision was made shortly after this shot was taken and now the roof consists of several different colors and sizes of roofing tiles.
Checking the look of the roofing tiles next to the exterior limestone. Now that the rock is up and the roof is tiled, we love how it all turned out.
This antique lantern is one of several that will be cleaned and prepped so that gold leafing can be applied to add some embellishment and new life. These extra-large lanterns will be in various locations found both on the interior and exterior of the home.
